UUNCHAI MOVIE STORYLINE

Uunchai movie is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language adventure-drama film directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Mahaveer Jain, Late Rajkumar Barjatya, Kamal Kumar Barjatya under the banner of  Rajshri Productions. The film features by Amitabh bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa as lead role four friends along with supportive roles Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, Sarika and Nafisa Ali in supporting roles. Uunchai movie is scheduled for release on 11 November 2022.The film is a beautiful and emotional life story of four friends who are in their old age and tries to fulfill their wishes.

It's the story of four friends, stars with Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Denzongpa and Irani. Denzongpa’s Bhupen has only one and last dream in life, to climb Mount Everest before death. He shared his last wish with friends that I want to experience my childhood again and climb Mount Everest with you all, But his friends denied several times due to age factor and he dies before he could fulfil his dream. After his death his friends decided to honor his last wish and spread his ashes on Everest instead of ganga because their friend souls dwells in  mountains and died with a desire, they didn't  think about hurdles no matter what will happen during heading to Everest their enthusiasm make them strong. In spite of their age factor and medical/physical issues, they trek to the Mount Everest base camp. There is a tagline in movie says, “Friendship was their motivation.

Parineeti Chopra acts as a head of base camp who is leading the camp to Mount Everest and guide the trio that we have to walk 7-8 hours per day to cover the mountains. Parineeti helps them in trek to mount Everest and after hearing their mission Parineeti gets emotional.

Shooting of  Uunchai movie was started in October 2021 in Nepal at various places mainly in Khatmandu. They wrapped up the shoot in April 2022. On the last day of the shoot, Anupam Kher had gotten emotional and shared a note on social media thanked whole team of Uunchai for this opportunity and gave me a new experience of life.
